Nash Family Creamery

Cute farm, lovely drive & yummy treats. The roast beef w horseradish sauce was very tasty. The grilled cheese was awesome. We had vanilla, chocolate brownie, banana pudding & cookies in crème which was chocolate base. Was sad there was no brownie bits in the brownie one- just a brownie batter imitator. Enjoyed the fun. Clean bathrooms. Playground 🛝 was accessible for my 6 year old. We couldn’t stay long for timing issues but we tried to prior day get on their schedule for a farm tour but they sold out. Plan ahead your route to DJ more activities. Also, if they do tours and let out, it gets crowded & busy and might take a while to order. You order sandwiches at check out at the counter where ice cream is served as well.

Randomly found this place. It was clean and the workers were nice enough, not really the Nashville hospitality I'm used too but I can't complain because they were young. I guess I just expected a more homey vibe because of it's family owned vibe I got. The vanilla I think tastes better then the chocolate and my kids and I got a few different flavors. Dont forget to look at the other things the offer and just get wrapped up in the treats and I've cream flavors. I wanted to try the brownie sundae and forgot about it with chaos of kids and picking flavors lol. Also I didn't get a receipt. But I was under the impression that if you got two scoops you would get the double scoop deal but since 2 of my kids got two diff flavors in one cup and one for 2 diff flavors in a cone I paid for two single scoops. But I could be mistaken. Not a huge problem just double means 2 scoops and I guess it had to be the same ice cream flavor. All in all it's a cute place and they have a lot of options. Well try again in the future

Absolutely great experience and this will be a must stop for us on every trip to Nashville. I bought some jalapeno cheese curds, horseradish cheese curds, sharp cheddar and blackberry ice cream. My daughters had the vanilla ice cream and whiskey chocolate ice cream. Everything was exceptional. The cheese curds weren't as fresh as some I've had when visiting Wisconsin, they didn't squeak, but the flavors were great. The sharp cheddar was excellent. I only wish they'd had some 5-7 year aged cheddar because the sharp rivaled any cheese I've tasted. Service was great too, real friendly folks working there.

Fabulous! My daughter and I split the Turkey and Cranberry Grilled cheese and also split the Cheddar, Bacon, and Peach Preserves. Both were just great! The one with peach preserves sounded just odd enough to work, and it did. Then she went with a scoop of cookie dough ice cream and loved it, I went with a cotton candy crunch shake, and it was delightful. The scoops are HUGE. The cafe offers cheese curds, cheese, and other assortments, while also offering Doodle's Bakery's Cinnamon rolls. As a small, local business owner, I love supporting other local businesses. And this is another small business supporting one another. Please try it out and if you see a line, don't fret, it was a quick turn around.

Located about an hour south of Nashville, Tennessee, and thirty minutes south of Franklin, the Nash Family Creamery is definitely worth the drive. They offer a wide variety of unique ice cream flavors as well as a sizable collection of savory options. The dining area inside is open and bright with plenty of seating for large and small groups. There are also plenty of seating options outside where you can take advantage of the peaceful views of the surrounding countryside. I ordered a scoop of Mint Chocolate Swirl. It was delicious. Very creamy and smooth. And their single scoop sizes are generous. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and their prices are reasonable. And if you’re planning a trip to the Jack Daniels Distillery, this is on the way and would make a great addition to your itinerary.

We were in the area visiting family, and they took us here visit Nash's. They apparently have a small herd of cattle and produce the ice cream and cheese from their milk. The building is clean and lends itself to an old style fill. They have seating inside and an outside area to enjoy the views while eating. We had around seven or eight different flavors spread out over ten people, and everyone was happy with the taste.

My family and I were in town for a Wedding and our niece, who lives in Chapel Hill, recommended the Nash Family Creamery for lunch. It was great! We all tried different grilled cheese sandwiches along with the Tomato soup. A classic pairing which did not disappoint. All of the grilled cheese sandwiches were so creamy and we all shared our food so we could try the different combinations of cheeses. To finish off the meal we enjoyed ice cream and milkshakes with the Pecan Pie and Banana Pudding being 2 of our favorites. Great little place to stop and get a delicious lunch, but I do recommend getting there early for once it starts to get crowded it will slow down a bit, which just gives you more time to review the different ice cream selections! =) Beautiful location, nice indoor and outdoor seating, and delicious grilled cheese sandwiches & ice cream. Whenever we come back in town we will visit again!
